EPCM Contractor
This is short for Engineering Procurement Contract Management. Services that relate to a consultant being an EPCM Contractor may include total contract management of borefield development including borefield design, procurement of services and suppliers, full contract management including project management of all contractors. A good example of this type of work was when the Principal acted on behalf of the client in direct liaison with contractors, i.e. Grey Mare Stage 2 Borefield Development.

Tender Preparation & Evaluation
This involves preparing technical scope of works for drilling or test pumping or other such works for water resources and also includes liaison with drilling contractors and the evaluation of such tenders for recommendation to the client to award a contract.

Cost Estimations
This is based on Saprolite Environmental experience in water resource development and with constant contact between us and drilling contractors we are able to estimate water resource development on small, medium or large scale including, to a degree, some preliminary engineering aspects.

Contractor Supervising & Management
This can be done either as an EPCM Contractor or just as a superintendent on behalf of the client in direct management of the contract to fulfill the scope of works including invoice checking, authorisation of invoices ensuring that the scope of work has been carried out safely and correctly.
